M.S. 2019 Chemistry – San Diego State University, San Diego, CA

Mahsa did her undergrad at Iran University of Science and Technology in Materials Science and Engineering and worked on mesoporous silica nanoparticles as drug delivery carriers. She received her Master’s in Chemistry at San Diego State University, and worked on silk mimic peptides-silica nano-bio composites. Currently she is doing her PhD at USC in Biomedical Engineering and is studying the effect of a collagen-rich extracellular matrix on tumor growth and chemoresistance using a 3D organoid biomimetic model  derived from metastatic lesions.
